Getting closer to Mega Project:

The problem I thought about solving was that, a lot of university students struggle when it comes to paying their university tuition fee. It is one of the major issue which I have observed and felt that it needs to be addressed. Financial Crisis brings various problems for the students , it’s not only the source of continuous tension for them but also makes it difficult for them to concentrate. And in each semester if they are somehow able to manage their fees the thought of future liability makes it difficult for them to live in peace.

The problem statement I made is,

Due to financial issues lots of University students in Pakistan face difficulty in paying their University’s tuition fee.

The vision is to create a platform where these undergraduate students can be linked to freelancing websites or other such websites for helping them earn enough money that enables them to pay their fee along with that in enabling them to become stable.

For this purpose I talked to my fellows as well and read various articles as well regarding this issue. A large no of population is being affected due to this issue. Following were the outcomes or findings.

· There is a persistent rise in tuition fees

· Lack of availability of scholarships

· Most of the Universities don’t allow students to pay fees in Installments

· Least availability of Financial Aid from Government

· Lack of job facilities to pay educational expenses

My take away from this scenario is this that If we make a platform that provides students with job opportunities , it will impact not only on solving the financial issues of them but will also make them more responsible and will reduce their dependency on their parents or scholarships or donations.
