Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed no hope at all. Dale Carnegie

I learnt various things from these tips . Firstly one can’t do anything unless we start by reflecting on our current performance to improve the future outcome. One needs to accept one’s failures and weaknesses and start by working on one’s self. I was able to relate it with the schema therapy that we perform in psychology for converting irrational thoughts to rational ones.

“It is when you lose sight of yourself, that you lose your way. To keep your truth in sight you must keep yourself in sight and the world to you should be a mirror to reflect to you your image; the world should be a mirror that you reflect upon.”
― C. Joy Bell C.

Moving to the second step that is getting out of comfort zone. Nothing can help unless one decides that it’s time for action persistence and hard work.

“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.”
― Roy T. Bennett

The third tip was creating a new habit. I read a book named the power of habit which was overall an amazing book to help one change or develop new habits.

Charles Duhigg states in it,

“Champions don’t do extraordinary things. They do ordinary things, but they do them without thinking, too fast for the other team to react. They follow the habits they’ve learned.”

The forth tip was asking people for help which is really essential in improving one’s self ,when we find our self a mentor and get feedback from the people who are skilled and successful it helps one grow. As it is rightly said,

“Healing takes time, and asking for help is a courageous step.”

The last amazing tip was to fake it until we make it. It helps a person to change ones confidence and perception of ones capabilities. Research shows that if you act as if you were competent and confident in an area, will eventually lead to improved competence and confidence

“You must be the person you have never had the courage to be. Gradually, you will discover that you are that person, but until you can see this clearly, you must pretend and invent.”
― Paulo Coelho

I found all of these tips really amazing. Each one has its on vitality and importance. I have already started applying all of them to develop a growth mindset. One can start developing growth mindset from today by, acknowledging and embracing imperfections. Viewing challenges as opportunities. Trying different learning tactics. Replacing the word “failing” with the word “learning.” Valuing the process over the end result. Cultivating a sense of purpose. Celebrating growth with others. Rewarding actions, not traits. Redefining “genius.” Portraying criticism as positive and Utilizing regular opportunities for reflection.
